Dental hygiene is so important to me. Knowing that I have a reliable dental office I can see for my cleanings, exams, and for other dental procedures (as needed) at a time that works around my work schedule is so important to me, that’s why I go to Turley Dental Care.
Turley Dental Care has two locations here in Billings to be more convenient for their patients, their original office is located downtown (315 N 25th St #101) and their newer location is located in Shiloh Crossing (1002 Shiloh Crossing Blvd) on the Westend (check out the BOIB Movers Guide to get familiar with the Billings areas of town). They also are open Monday - Friday from 7:00 am – 7:00 pm, and they are open on Saturdays so if you want to go in before or after work, you can or you can go in on Saturday.
Because Turley has two locations, they have a variety of great Dentists and hygienists you can see, so no matter your schedule they have a team of dentists, hygienists, and support staff that are ready to see you! Turley Dental Care is a local dental office, started by Dr. Turley in 1984, they opened their second location in 2016.
I visit them twice a year for a cleaning and exam by a dentist. Annual Dental Hygiene consists of 4 cavity detecting X-rays, an exam by the doctor, and then your cleaning with the hygienist. Bitewings (cavity-detecting X-rays) are taken yearly or as needed. Pano's are taken every 5 years or as needed, photos are taken every 5 years, and full mouth x-rays are taken every 3-5 years or as needed.
Unfortunately, I haven’t always had the best dental genetics, early in college I had Invisalign through TDC. At the end of each visit, they send you home with a new toothbrush, floss, Chapstick (I love their Chapstick), travel toothpaste, and they have a few other things to give you if you have braces, dentures, etc. I have a denture brush from them to help clean my retainer, it works great! AND if you have gotten their whitening trays, each cleaning visit they send you home with a new FREE bleach tube, yes FREE.
The whitening trays are my favorite, they are $99 to get and after that, with each visit, you get a new bleach tube. These trays are magic, and I know many people are always looking for ways to whiten their teeth, this is the way to do it. The TDC team gives you great instructions on how to best get results by using these trays. Ask them about this option at your next appointment!
I have also had a few of my cavities from my younger days, refilled with them and I have even had to get a few crowns put on my teeth, all done at Turley. I am an avid teeth person, so you might be wondering why I’ve had so much treatment? I have sensitive teeth and much of my treatment has been refilling older fillings, a quick in-and-out treatment. I mentioned crowns, if you don’t know what those are, be glad, for those of you who do and may have gone through that process you know that a crown can seem like a daunting task for many reasons, the pain, the time, the cost, but TDC make the process so easy, because they do same-day crowns and their team talks you through the whole process. And while you wait, you can hang out and watch your favorite show on the TV in your operating room. And you leave with a crown, secured, not a temporary. And once the numbing goes away, you are as good as new.
