I was born and raised in Kenya, but Billings has truly become my second home. Having lived in
different parts of the U.S. since 2016, I can confidently say Billings is my favorite! I moved here
in August 2023 as a professor in the Environmental Studies program at Montana State
University Billings (MSUB). As a new faculty member, I experienced firsthand how incredible
this community is – people helped me navigate housing, childcare, and settling into life here.
MSUB offers opportunities for both traditional and non-traditional students, fosters strong
partnerships with the community, and provides exciting research opportunities. Feel free to ask
