Visit Billings is excited to announce the launch of its latest digital passport: Trailhead Treats. This passport will showcase the various bakeries, restaurants, and ice cream shops that offer something special and sweet in Billings, Montana. Whether you’re a visitor or a local, you’ll be able to enjoy the Trailhead Treats pass and explore the city’s remarkable culinary scene.
The Trailhead Treats pass is being introduced almost a year after Visit Billings launched the Billings Brew Trail pass, a digital passport highlighting the city’s 9 breweries, 3 distilleries, and 1 cider mill. This pass was launched in celebration of Craft Beer Week 2022, but it is available year-round. During the first summer of the brew pass launch, over 600 people signed up, and these pass holders recorded over 1,400 check-ins at promoted local businesses. Pass holders are more likely to visit multiple stops along the trail, and visitors from all over the United States have used this pass to enjoy the Billings brew scene.
Similar to the Billings Brew Trail, users of the Trailhead Treats pass will be able to win prizes for visiting multiple locations and engaging with local businesses. The goal of this new passport is to highlight the businesses that give Billings a special flavor, with a focus on sweet treats.
“We’re thrilled to launch the Trailhead Treats pass and showcase the sweet side of Billings,” said Luke Ashmore, Special Projects and Programs Manager for Visit Billings. “We want visitors and locals to discover new places, indulge in their favorite treats, and support local businesses. The Trailhead Treats pass is a fun and interactive way to do just that.”
To participate in the Trailhead Treats pass, users can sign up for the digital passport using the Visit Billings website, https://www.visitbillings.com/trailheadtreats. The passport will provide information on the participating businesses, including their location, hours, and special offers. Users can check in at each location they visit and earn rewards after visiting a certain number of spots.
