Billings Summer Fun for the Whole Family

• Attend the Strawberry Festival in downtown Billings. This event has been one of my favorite Billings summer events for years. It’s Billings’ largest street festival and you explore booth after booth of artisan crafts and merchants. There are loads of food trucks and live entertainment.
• Catch a Billings Mustangs baseball game at Dehler Park. There’s nothing better than a ballpark hot dog.
• Fourth of July Parade & Fireworks in Laurel. A day of family, friends & fun in a small town. Fireworks start at dark.
• Big Sky Balloon Rally. For a few days every July, when you look up into the early morning sky, it’s filled with Hot Air Balloons and truly magical. The fun continues into Saturday evening with Field Festival, featuring food trucks, face painting, live entertainment, kid's activities, and a balloon glow.
• Paddles & Wheels summer rental pop-up shop at The Depot in downtown Billings. This is brand new this year and I’m so excited! Rent bicycles, e-bikes, paddle boards, kayaks, and all the equipment and safety gear you need to enjoy summer on our lakes and trails across Southeast Montana.
• Symphony in the Park celebrates its 51^st year this summer and this beloved tradition is FREE! Grab a blanket and relax with an evening of music in Pioneer Park.
• Ride the Ferris wheel and enjoy a funnel cake during the weeklong MontanaFair in August.
• Walks the grounds of ZooMontana!
• Drive the Beartooth Highway and take the most scenic route to Yellowstone National Park. The road switchbacks and rises 5,000 ft in elevation to see some of Montana’s most breathtaking views.
• Speaking of Yellowstone National Park, enjoy the world’s first national park. Explore Yellowstone’s 2.2 million acres and enjoy unique hydrothermal and geologic features.
• Strap on your boots and hike Mystic Lake.
• Watch live Pig Races at Bear Creek Saloon & Steakhouse. Memorial Day through Labor Day. Races start at 7:00 Thursday through Sunday every weekend.

Billings Summer Date Night

When you need a night with your partner, try something on this list.

• Alive After 5 concert series. A weekly concert series that runs through most of the summer in downtown Billings is the perfect evening event to enjoy with your significant other.
• Billings boasts its own winery which has the cutest patio. Enjoy a glass of wine and cheese board at Yellowstone Cellars & Winery for a fun date night.
• Buffalo Block Patio. One of the best patios in all of Billings can be found Downtown at Buffalo Block Steak House. Its historic charm and ambiance make for an extra special date night in Billings Montana.
• Ax Throwing at Ox Indoor Ax Throwing. Grab takeout and a six-pack and bring it with you and enjoy an evening giggling and having a friendly competition with your spouse.
• Escape Rooms. Billings has two escape rooms to choose from, The Grand Escape Room and Billings Escape Room. Both of which are perfect for double dates or enjoying with multiple other couples.
• GoUnite Billings takes the planning out of date night with monthly themed (and fully planned) events doing something fun and unique in Billings. These events are always a good time and definitely worth trying something new to do with your boo.
