Hello from Billings, a city rich in both history and possibilities. Whatever may bring you to Billings, you’re sure to find a warm friendly little town with many of the amenities of a much larger city. Outdoorsy? You’ll find great hiking and biking surrounding the city and endless, uncrowded mountain wilderness 45 minutes away. Indoorsy? Breweries, amazing restaurants, independent movie theaters, art, and performance year round. Also, you’re never more than 20 minutes from any part of town. I could go on and on.
I grew up in northern Wyoming, and moved to Billings for college. I spent 10 years working in the bicycle industry, then stumbled into the nonprofit world, I am now the Director of the Downtown Billings Business Improvement District. This organization ignited my interest in both city government and helping those in need. I have always lived a few blocks from downtown, and I absolutely love my neighborhood.
I would love the opportunity to share what I know about outdoor recreation like cycling and snow sports, city government, volunteer opportunities, local music, and anything else you would like to know! if I don’t have the answer you are looking for, chances are pretty good I can point you in the right direction.
Billings is a wonderful city that has completely won me over, and no matter where I go, I’m always happy to be back in my little town.
